Spring is here!

For Texas, the weather has been a little cooler lately. Thankfully, Spring has finally made an appearance! And, it is beautiful!
We took a long drive this Saturday to look at all the wildflowers. Though most of them were along the highway, we did happen upon a little field where we got out to snap some shots.
The flowers cooperated beautiful. Kate...not so much. Why won't two year olds look at the camera?

Hampton Girls

Our good friends had to pack up and move to Arizona. Before they moved, I was able to get a few pics of their adorable girls.

Though I am NOT in favor of doing weddings, I was willing to do this family a huge favor.
I really am not professional, but happy that some of these turned out well.

Two Families---One Fun Afternoon!

I was so excited to run into an old high school friend and even more excited when she asked me to do her family pictures. She brought along her best friends that have become family (since they also moved away from Utah).
Not only did we get some great shots, but Abbey introduced me to a new, beautiful location. I can't wait to shoot more pics here.
And, it actually looked like fall---in TEXAS!

I Heart This Family

The Smoots have been amazing friends to us here in Texas. At times I don't know what we would do without them.
It really was so much fun taking their pictures. They are all so photogenic....'specially their little two year old. I could take pictures of him all day!
